
A German delegation led by the Mayor of Würzburg, Martin Heilig, visited the Lviv region to discuss current issues of fire and rescue services in the context of the war. The importance of such meetings lies in the cooperation that strengthens international security and the exchange of experiences among rescuers. This was reported by LVIVDSNS.
During the meeting, particular attention was paid to the operation of fire and rescue units under martial law, mechanisms for interaction and coordination of services in Lviv. Foreign partners were shown the training system for Ukrainian specialists and modern approaches to crisis management, which have already proven effective.
Practical aspects of the elimination of the consequences of armed aggression were discussed, as well as the challenges rescuers face daily when responding to emergencies. The visit was an important event for strengthening international cooperation in the field of security and for the support from German colleagues for Ukrainian services.
