The website of Lviv OVA became the breakthrough of the year in terms of accessibility

For the second year in a row, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine are monitoring and analyzing the web accessibility of the websites of state authorities.

This was announced by the deputy head of the Lviv OVA for digital development, digital transformations and digitalization (CDTO) Oleksandr Kulepin.

“And here in a recent report we can read the following words: “Among the sites whose basic accessibility index increased in 2022, the leaders are: the website of the Lviv Regional State Administration – a progress of 7 points.” Such progress became possible thanks to a complete rethinking of the administration’s website, which we did it last year,” said Oleksandr Kulepin.

He added that at the presentation of the updated site, the team emphasized accessibility, because even at the stage of the technical task, it was one of the priorities.

“That’s why today we have a website that is convenient and understandable for all classes of citizens, including people with vision, hearing, musculoskeletal, speech, and intellectual disabilities. I thank the SoftServe Ukraine team, who made the dream of an accessible website of Lviv OVA a reality in reality. I believe that this year we will be able to raise the result to 10/10!”, Oleksandr Kulepin emphasized.
