According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Lviv Region, the last 24 hours witnessed 7 fires that caused significant losses in the region due to human negligence. Over 3600 square metres of land were burned.
Negligence, such as a discarded match in windy weather, can turn a field into an inferno, threatening not just your home but also neighbouring forests. Burning of dry grass is not only harmful to the environment but also poses a direct threat to the safety of your life and the community’s infrastructure.
We urge everyone to stop setting fires. Protect nature and do not endanger yourself and those around you!
