Among them is the DJI Matrice 30 multicopter, which is able to function in any weather conditions and is equipped with a night vision camera.
On July 24, another batch of modern drones, including FPV drones, DJI Mavic quadcopters of various configurations and one DJI Matrice 30 drone, were delivered to the needs of Lviv divisions within the “Birds of Victory” project.
Thus, in the near future, 108 drones will go to the front, including 92 FPV drones and 16 DJI Mavics. They will be transferred to the 80th separate amphibious assault brigade, the 24th separate mechanized brigade named after King Danylo, the 125th separate territorial defense brigade, the 128th separate mountain assault brigade and the 420th battalion.
The head of the Lviv OVA, Maksym Kozytsky, emphasized that such transfers of small aircraft are extremely important for technological superiority on the battlefield.
“Thanks to such drones, our defenders can monitor the enemy in real time and predict all his maneuvers. I thank the initiators of the project and everyone who joins it and contributes to the approaching victory of Ukraine.” – the head of the region emphasized.
In addition, the DJI Matrice 30 multicopter is able to function at temperatures from -20°C to +50 degrees Celsius, shoot video in 4K resolution and photos in 8K. It is also equipped with a thermal imaging camera and a laser range finder. It is capable of flying at a speed of more than 20 meters per second, and its maximum operating altitude is 7 kilometers above sea level. The device’s batteries provide 40 minutes of flight time.
We will remind you that the “Birds of Victory” initiative was launched in March 2023. Since then, 748 drones have been sent to the front line. The overall goal is 1,000 drones for the Armed Forces. The project is implemented in cooperation with the head of the Lviv Regional Territorial Center for Procurement and Social Support, Oleksandr Tishchenko, and the founder of Dobro.Diy, Ihor Dulyny.
