In Sheptytsk, pavement repairs are underway with the installation of ramps as part of the Accessibility Programme. These works are being carried out by the contractor “Zastava” LLC.
At present, the pavement and ramps have already been completed at the intersection of Shevchenko and Yulia Burko streets, the corners of Kupchynskyi and Vynnychenko streets, as well as in the park on Hrushevsky Street. Currently, specialists are working on expanding the kerb ramps at the pedestrian crossing to the dam on Hrushevsky Street.
According to “Komunalnyk” Municipal Enterprise, overall, the work is planned to be completed at ten designated locations, which will significantly ease movement for those with limited mobility, including wheelchair users, mothers with prams, and the elderly.
