For the attention of private vehicle drivers: starting today, 8 July, the road surface repair works will begin with “big maps” on Opryshkivska Street, on the section from Kryvonos Street to Zamkova Street.
The works are expected to last until Saturday, 13 July. The street will not be closed for traffic.
However, large-sized equipment will be working, so there may be inconveniences and delays when travelling along this street.
“The pavement of Opryshkivska Street is in poor condition. In particular, due to the heavy traffic on this street, as it connects the Pidzamche neighbourhood and Kryvonosa Street, as well as due to the road’s relief – it has a significant slope.
That’s why today, on 8 July, we’ll start the current asphalt-concrete pavement repair on Opryshkivska street, from Kryvonosa street to Zamkova street, with large asphalt-concrete maps. We will not close the street for traffic during the works, but large-sized equipment will be working there.
Subject to favourable weather conditions, we plan to complete the work on Saturday, 13 July,” the Galician District Administration said.
Therefore, drivers of private vehicles are asked to pay attention to this and avoid Opryshkivska Street if possible, as traffic delays are possible there.
