In the Lviv region, the village headman who did not allow the demolition of a Soviet monument was fired

This is the same monument around which an unpleasant incident took place – the village headman prevented the monument from being demolished. This act of the local self-government representative amused the Russian propagandists the most. The elder was dismissed. As we can see, ignorance of history and distorted perception of facts make people a tool of propaganda, the Chervonograd District State Administration specified.
A deputy of the Lviv Regional Council, a representative of the working group on decommunization at the Lviv OVA Zakhar Mylyanyk noted that this monument was in the form of a Russian soldier in the military uniform of the occupying army.
“Everything is in the traditions of the Russian army. The inscriptions on the stele are a classic example of Russian-Soviet propaganda. Communist stars have also been present here to this day,” wrote Zakhar Mylyanyk.
These Russian and imperial markers on our land are marks for Russia, that these are their monuments, history means land! These pedestals are part of the religion of Racism. Now it is racism, and once it was communism, Bolshevism. The Soviet authorities tried to make these monuments sacred symbols, to replace the church for people. We remember this!
In general, there are currently two communities in the Chervonograd district, on the territory of which objects of communist propaganda are still located. The worst situation is in the Lopatynsk community, where 11 objects are to be dismantled. There is one monument in Radehivska.
