On Thursday, November 10, a meeting of the commission on social protection, children’s rights, human rights and combatants took place. Deputies supported the proposal for the free transfer of a Mercedes Shinter car from the communal property of the Sokal City Council to the joint ownership of territorial communities of the Lviv region on the balance sheet of the communal institution of the Lviv Regional Council “Leshkiv Psychoneurological Boarding School”.
The decision to hand over the vehicle was made by deputies of the Sokal City Council at the beginning of October. The car was brought to Ukraine and donated to the community of Sokal by benefactors from Germany.
“We are sincerely grateful to our colleagues from the Chervonograd district for their care of the wards of the Leshkiv psychoneurological boarding school. There are now internally displaced persons who were forced to leave the territories where hostilities took place and found refuge in the Lviv Region. The car will help the staff of the communal facility to better meet the needs of these people and solve household problems. Thanks to the caring people who provide humanitarian aid and do good deeds, Lviv Region is and will be a safe rear for Ukrainians,” thanked the head of the commission for social protection, children’s, human rights and combatants’ rights Mykola Ishchuk
