Today, the 63rd extraordinary session of the Sokal City Council took place, during which important financing decisions were made.
“Once again, funds have been allocated to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, with 3,000,000 UAH directed to six military units to improve defense capabilities”, stated the official announcement.
Changes were also made to budget indicators. To install the Memorial of the Fallen Heroes on Sheptytsky Street in Sokal, 2 million 340 thousand UAH were allocated. To ensure teachers’ salary payments in six educational institutions, where the number of students does not exceed 45 from September 2025, 4 million 936 thousand UAH were allocated.
Additionally, 90 thousand 780 UAH were allocated for the development of design and estimate documentation for the object “Reconstruction of the power supply system at Water Intake Building #2.” 56 thousand UAH were allocated to implement the Program for Supporting Gifted Students. 2.8 million UAH were allocated for operational maintenance of general roads. 1 million 500 thousand UAH were allocated for the construction of a sidewalk to the new cemetery in Sokal. 200 thousand UAH were allocated for the purchase of sports equipment for the DYUSSH “Sokolyany.”
