The Lviv Court of Appeal has banned any construction on the territory of the unfinished school in Bryukhovychy, which the former local government had given for residential development. The court made the relevant decision at a meeting on December 5.
“On the eve of its liquidation, the Bryukhovytsia settlement council worked very effectively: in one month it managed to write off the premises of an unfinished school from the balance sheet, give a plot of land with an area of 4.6 hectares in the center of the village free of charge to some public organization, and even issue it urban planning conditions for the construction of a commercial entertainment center,” Lviv’s deputy mayor for urban planning Lyubomyr Zubach wrote on social networks.
The organization declared that it plans to build a rehabilitation center for war veterans on this land. However, as it turned out, the rehabilitation center was supposed to occupy only 500 square meters. with 44,000 sq. m. of the total area of new construction.
