Monitoring of water supply and sewage tariffs revealed that KP ‘Drohobychvodokanal’ has some of the lowest tariffs in the Lviv region.
Among 35 companies that were analyzed, ‘Drohobychvodokanal’ ranks 33rd in terms of tariff levels. Higher tariffs are set in the cities of Staryi Sambir, Komarno, Busk, and others. The company emphasizes: ‘Water tariffs in Drohobych should not be compared with those in Lviv’. This is due to different financial conditions.
According to LCP ‘Lvivvodokanal’, in 2024, the company received 491 million UAH from the city budget. Of this, 308 million UAH was spent on covering the tariff difference and 183 million UAH on capital replenishment. Meanwhile, KP ‘Drohobychvodokanal’ received only 12.8 million UAH.
