In Truskavets on 31 March 2026, a meeting of the commission was held to address housing assistance issues for internally displaced persons (IDPs) who lived in temporarily occupied territories. The commission operates in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 22 September 2025 No. 1176, which provides for the issuance of housing vouchers worth 2 million UAH for war veterans among the IDPs.
During the meeting, an application submitted by a combatant through the “Diia” app was reviewed. The commission made a positive decision to provide assistance, and after approval by the executive committee of the Truskavets City Council, the applicant will receive a notification in “Diia”.
It should be noted that the right to receive assistance is granted to individuals registered in the Unified Information Database on IDPs, who have relocated from temporarily occupied territories and belong to the categories of combatants or persons with disabilities due to war. Voucher recipients must not have convictions for crimes against national security or peace, own housing suitable for permanent residence (except for properties in temporarily occupied territories or active combat zones), or receive similar assistance under other state programmes.
Overall, from January to March 2026, the commission processed 35 requests for assistance in resolving housing issues for individuals in the specified categories.
