The community of Lviv continues to support the Ukrainian army. As the mayor of Lviv, Andriy Sadovy, reported, this week, thanks to citizens’ taxes, equipment and equipment worth UAH 10 million was handed over to our military.
These are drones, anti-drone guns, batteries, night vision monoculars, binoculars, thermal sights, and more.
“This week, together with the community of Lviv, the following requests from our defenders were closed: 450 FPV drones; 2 anti-drone guns; night vision monoculars, binoculars, thermal sights; batteries, poncho.
In total, the cost of purchases amounted to 10 million hryvnias. These are funds from the city budget. For this year, 1 billion hryvnias are planned for purchases for the military.
It is important that the equipment we purchased for our defenders is the result of the work of cool Lviv manufacturers,” Andriy Sadovy said.
We will remind you that equipment and equipment for the front lines are purchased at the request of the military within the framework of the city-wide program to support defenders. In the budget of the Lviv MTG for 2024, only UAH 1 billion is provided for the purchase of equipment and necessary means for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
By the way, this week Lviv increased financial support for the development of military equipment to UAH 3 million. Ukrainian manufacturers will be able to receive such a voucher – up to UAH 3 million for UAVs/UAVs and other equipment from the Lviv City Council.
