The day before, on March 14, a memorial square to the soldiers of volunteer formations was laid on Nezalezhnosti Ukrainy Street in Bryukhovychy. The first 5 larches were planted there.
“This is a territory with an area of 1.4309 hectares. There are green spaces, mainly pines and larch trees, and there are also children’s and sports grounds. For the next session, colleagues are preparing a resolution according to which this territory will receive the status of a park and have a balance keeper. In addition, there was a position of residents and volunteer soldiers to dedicate this square to the soldiers of volunteer formations,” said Iryna Kruglova, Head of the Urban Agglomeration Department of the LMR.
In addition, within the scope of the event, the 2nd rifle battalion of the DUK PS named after Taras “Hammer” Bobanych of the 67th OMBr DUK was given an FPV drone, which was purchased by the head of the Lviv OVA Maksym Kozytskyi.
