The Shevchenkivskyi District Administration will announce a tender for the repair of the area near the public transport stop No. 8a on V. Ivasiuk Street in the village of Bryukhovychi.
According to the district administration, the roadway at this location is in an acute state of disrepair: there are huge potholes along the bus stop and near the pavilion itself, and during rainfall, huge puddles form here, flooding the area and making it difficult to pass.
Moreover, the bus stop is used by both local residents and patients of the UNBROKEN rehabilitation centre in Bryukhovychi.
“The roadway at the final stop of bus route 8a in the village of Bryukhovychi is not just in poor condition, but in critical condition. Twice a year, our road maintenance company pours milled asphalt over the area and performs grading. However, the pits are still progressing and getting bigger. And during rainfall, there are large puddles that flood the area around, including the pavilion at the bus stop,” says the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration.
As a result, the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration plans to announce a tender for the repair of the territory and the public transport stop on V. Ivasiuk Street in Bryukhovychi. It is planned to restore the asphalt concrete pavement on the roadway, partially repair the sidewalk near the public transport stop and arrange accessibility elements there – make a dip and lay tactile tiles. It is also planned to arrange a drainage system to prevent flooding.
The total area of works is 1080 m2, and the estimated cost of repairs is UAH 3.5 million.
“We have also received many requests from residents and drivers to repair the roadway at this bus stop. It is used not only by local residents, but also by patients of the UNBROKEN rehabilitation centre in Bryukhovychi,” the Shevchenkivskyi district council added.
