Children with disabilities in the Drogobych urban territorial community can receive a one-off financial aid of 10,000 hryvnias for rehabilitation in medical institutions in Ukraine. This decision was made by the Drogobych City Council session on 11 December 2025. The aim of the aid is to support the medical and physical rehabilitation of children and partially cover the treatment costs, as reported by the Drogobych City Council.
The right to such assistance is granted to children diagnosed with cerebral palsy who are officially registered and reside in the Drogobych urban territorial community. The assistance is given to one of the parents or the legal representative of the child. It covers the expenses for medical and/or physical rehabilitation and is paid from the community budget.
To submit an application to the social protection department, it is necessary to provide copies of the passport, identification number, birth certificate or child’s passport, medical certificate of disability, and bank account details. The payment is made by transferring the funds to the applicant’s bank account.
