In the Drohobych community, the heating season concludes today. This decision was made based on a letter from the Lviv branch of LLC “Gas Distribution Networks”, which informed about the cessation of gas transportation. 31 March has been designated as the end date for the 2025-2026 heating season.
The main reason for this decision is resource conservation, prompted by the challenging situation in the country’s energy market. According to the directive, the supply of heat carrier will be halted for all consumers, including individuals, legal entities, institutions, and administrative buildings that use centralised heating.
Gas supply to the boilers of enterprises and organisations will be stopped, and the valves on gas inlets will be sealed. All systems will be put into conservation mode until the next heating season. An exception is the boiler house at 2A Ivana Datska Street in Drohobych, which supports the operation of the swimming pool at the Boberskyi Youth Sports School.
