In Lviv’s Frankivskyi district, 10 more buildings have had their hot water supply restored ahead of schedule

In Lviv’s Frankivskyi district, the hot water supply has been restored ahead of schedule to a further 10 buildings, where hydraulic testing has already been completed. In total, residents of 230 buildings in the city have had their hot water supply reinstated earlier than planned, Lvivteploenergo Municipal Enterprise (ЛМКП «Львівтеплоенерго») reported.

Hydraulic testing of the heating networks in Lviv began on 11 May and is scheduled to be completed on 17 June. Despite this, in a number of districts hot water is being supplied before the works are finished.

According to the enterprise, on 18 May the hot water supply was restored to 108 buildings in the Lychakivskyi district. On 21 May, the hot water supply was restored to 49 buildings in the Shevchenkivskyi district, and on 22 May – to 9 buildings in the Sykhivskyi district.

At the weekend, on 30 May, hot water was supplied earlier than the planned date (17 June) to 54 buildings in the Frankivskyi district. And on 4 June the hot water supply was restored to buildings at 61, 63, 65, 67, 69, 71, 73, 75, 79 and 81 Volodymyra Velykoho Street.

As of now, residents of the Lychakivskyi, Zaliznychnyi, and parts of the Halytskyi, Shevchenkivskyi and Frankivskyi districts, as well as 9 buildings in the Sykhivskyi district, are receiving hot water. In other parts of the city, work continues to eliminate defects identified during the hydraulic testing.

This year, the networks in the Sykhivskyi, Frankivskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and parts of the Lychakivskyi and Halytskyi districts are being checked first, in particular the main heating networks from CHP-1 and the “Pivnichna” heating centre. Hydraulic testing of the networks in the Zaliznychnyi district is scheduled to begin in mid-June.
