This status will preserve the community’s green space with ancient trees, including more than a century-old ones. It will also protect the area from possible development.

To this end, the Land Resources Department of the Lviv City Council has developed appropriate solutions. And at the last session, the deputies have already voted to develop a land management project for the land plot.
We are talking about 0.81 hectares on Zadvirya – Parkova streets in Hriada. This is the first and important step towards creating a public garden in the community with officially designated boundaries and a cadastral number. A lot has already been done in this regard, so by the end of the year, the currently cluttered area should receive the official status of a park.
The community office says that currently the territory of the future park has no balance sheet holder, so no one takes care of it. Although the place itself is very beautiful and valuable. Many trees grow here, including some that are well over 100 or even 150 years old.
