Komarno City Council has announced the start of the 2026–2027 heating season. In accordance with the decision of the executive committee, heating will be supplied to community facilities from 22 October 2026.
From this date, heating will be switched on in educational, medical, social and administrative institutions under the authority of Komarno City Council.
As for the housing stock, the announcement states that a separate order will be issued for multi-apartment and other residential buildings. It will be adopted if the average daily air temperature drops below +8°C and remains at that level for three consecutive days.
