More than 3.7 million hryvnias were provided in the budget of the Lviv MTG for material assistance, which the city provides every year in December for the International Day of People with Disabilities. Almost 3,000 people who have disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups since childhood will receive these funds.
“2,966 people with disabilities of the 1st and 2nd groups since childhood, who live in the Lviv city territorial community, will receive this financial assistance. In particular, 1,492 people with disabilities of the 1st group since childhood will receive 1,500 hryvnias each, and 1,474 people with disabilities of the 2nd group since childhood will receive 1,000 hryvnias each, the city social protection department said.
The funds will be paid by the Department of Social Protection of the LMR under the Comprehensive Program of Social Support for Certain Categories of Citizens of the Lviv MTG.
