A pilot project is launching in the settlements of the Lviv community, introducing a new approach to the placement of temporary structures. For the first time, a site for such a structure can be purchased at auction. This was announced by Natalia Alekseeva, head of the Office of Agglomeration and Community Development.
The Lviv City Council session approved the project implementation procedure, which includes auctions for the right to lease structural elements of landscaping for temporary structures. This concerns the territory of the Lviv municipal territorial community, excluding Lviv itself. The Office of Agglomeration, together with the Department of Architecture, will seek locations, and the right to lease will be sold through electronic auctions.
A list of over 50 temporary structures that previously received all the necessary permits but whose lease term has expired has also been approved. Owners of these structures will be able to continue their activities under new rules by signing lease agreements with the Lviv City Council. This will allow entrepreneurs to operate within the legal framework, and the structures will meet city-wide requirements.
Natalia Alekseeva noted that this resolution marks the beginning of work with temporary structures in the annexed communities. The Office of Agglomeration and the Department of Architecture conducted an inventory, identifying over 50 structures with all necessary permits. The next step will be to address kiosks operating illegally.
