Today from 09:30 to 10:30 at the beginning of S. Bandera Street in Lviv, a large aerial platform will be in operation. Municipal workers will be removing overhanging emergency elements from the roof of a building, which were left after the latest shelling of the city. This poses a real danger to pedestrians, drivers, and public transport passengers.
The upper part of the building has a damaged roof due to a Russian attack. Part of the roofing is destroyed, with visible debris and charred elements, from which a small flame is emerging. The city council emphasises that the damaged fragments could collapse at any moment.
The work is expected to last approximately an hour, with possible delays in the movement of trams No. 1 and No. 2. The work will be carried out by LKP “Iceberg”. Municipal workers will commence work immediately after the completion of law enforcement activities in this area.
As a reminder, on 24 March Lviv suffered a large-scale attack by enemy drones. Buildings in various parts of the city were damaged, as well as 7 city buses. According to preliminary estimates, the damage amounts to approximately 650,000 hryvnias. Fortunately, none of the drivers or passengers were injured.
