Major Renovations Underway on Vira, Nadiya, Lyubov Street in Lviv

In Lviv, major renovations are underway on Vira, Nadiya, Lyubov Street, which is part of the barrier-free route. The work began last autumn, and the water supply networks have already been replaced, the road has been asphalted, and lighting has been installed.

There remains the task of arranging the pavements, planting greenery, and installing street furniture, as well as a shelter at the public transport stop. Once the work is completed, the street will be accessible to all road users.

According to the Shevchenkivskyi District Administration, the first branch of the barrier-free route runs through Mykolaychuka — Mazepy — P. Orlyka — Vira, Nadiya, Lyubov streets. The roads and facilities on this route are to be inclusive.

Overall, all work on Vira, Nadiya, Lyubov Street is planned to be completed by the end of 2026. The “Barrier-Free Movement” project is being implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, and its aim is to create a space where everyone feels confident and comfortable.
