
In the central part of Lviv on 30 May traffic was closed on Stefanyka Street and the water supply was temporarily cut off to a number of streets due to work to repair an emergency water leak. This was reported by Lviv Municipal Enterprise “Lvivvodokanal”.
Traffic is closed from 10:00 to 20:00 on the section of Stefanyka Street from the junction with Kopernyka Street to the junction with Dudaieva Street. Utility workers are repairing a section of the water main where a hidden leak was detected.
For the duration of the works, from 10:00 to 17:00, the water supply has been cut off to some buildings in the centre of Lviv, in particular at the following addresses:
- A. Voloshyna Street, M. Voronoho Street, I. Bilozira Street, Bankivska Street, Muravy Street;
- Horodotska Street, 47, 51, M. Hoholia Street, Ye. Hrebinky Street, I. Hryhorovycha Street, Dzh. Dudaieva Street;
- Kniazia Romana Street, P. Kovzhuna Street, M. Kopernyka Street, T. Kostiushka Street, F. Lista Street, B. Lepkoho Street;
- Lystopadovoho Chynu Street, Ye. Malaniuka Square, L. Martovycha Street, A. Mitskevycha Square, O. Nyzhankivskoho Street, I. Ohiienka Street;
- O. Popovycha Street, S. Rudanskoho Street, P. Saksahanskoho Street, Sichovykh Striltsiv Street, Yu. Slovatskoho Street;
- V. Stefanyka Street, Ya. Stetska Street, Tykha Street, S. Tomashivskoho Street, Universytetska Street, O. Fredra Street, M. Skoryka Street;

- Svobody Avenue — odd side from No. 1 to No. 49.
Lvivvodokanal warns that after the repairs are completed and the water supply is restored, the network will be refilled. During this period, there may be a temporary deterioration in water quality, in particular changes in colour and cloudiness due to sediment being washed from the walls of the pipelines.
