
In Lviv, the expansion of the financial assistance programme for families of deceased and missing Protectors has been approved. On 15 May, the city’s executive committee implemented changes to the Regulations, enabling parents of fallen or missing servicemen to receive a one-time aid. The payment will amount to 10,000 hryvnias and is available to individuals with the corresponding status of a service member’s family member.
Applications for assistance will be accepted until 1 June for Mother’s Day and until 1 July for Father’s Day. Documents can be submitted at district social protection departments or at the Administrative Service Centres. This year, 813 mothers have already received the assistance amounting to a total of 8.13 million hryvnias.
The social protection department continues to disburse funds under the Comprehensive Support Programme for War Veterans and Families of Fallen Protectors of Ukraine. Last year, such payments were provided to 1,271 parents, totalling 12 million 710 thousand hryvnias.
