In Lviv, Carriers Sought for New Routes

In Lviv, a competition has been announced to select carriers for servicing six bus routes. This concerns new routes No. 64, No. 65, No. 67, and No. 90, as well as two existing routes — No. 30 and No. 80.

According to the city’s transport department, the competition offers lots that aim to ensure quality transport connections for residents of Lviv and other settlements of the Lviv community. Specifically:

  • New route No. 64 (Ryasne-Ruske — Bryukhovychi) will connect both communities via the ring road.
  • New route No. 65 (Pid Holoskom Street — Vynnyky) will provide a connection from the Pid Holoskom Street area to Vynnyky via Lysynychi.
  • New route No. 67 (Shpytalna Street — Bryukhovychi) will link the centre of Lviv with the village of Bryukhovychi.
  • New route No. 90 (Ryasne-1 — Levandivka) will connect Ryasne-1 with the villages of Ryasne-Ruske, Pidryasne, and the Levandivka neighbourhood.

Existing route No. 80 (Rizni Square — Dublyany) is currently operating under a temporary agreement with a carrier, so the city plans to appoint a permanent carrier. Existing route No. 30 (Ryasne-2 — Viden Street) requires a new carrier as “Epitrans” refuses to service this route.

According to the competition conditions, the applicant carrier must provide vehicles adapted for transporting people with reduced mobility, equipped with air conditioning, audio and text information systems, GPS navigation, and video surveillance. The transport must meet an environmental standard of at least “Euro-4”.

Documents for participation in the competition should be submitted to the Lviv City Council’s transport department at the address: Lviv, Sakhara Street, 2. The deadline for document submission is by 16:00 on 24 April 2026. The competition committee meeting is scheduled for 19 May 2026.
