In Lviv, it is becoming a good tradition to celebrate the city’s best janitors on the occasion of the Day of Housing and Communal Services Workers.
This year, the Lviv City Council announced the competition “The best janitor of Lviv – 2023” for the fourth time. The contest will last from March 20 to 31, and voting will take place on the “Hotline of the City of Lviv” Facebook page.
The first stage of the competition will last from 10:00 a.m. on March 20 to 10:00 a.m. on March 27, 2023. During the week, city residents can apply for a janitor by filling out the appropriate Google form: https://bit.ly/3mZsQEV.
The second stage – voting for submitted candidacies – will begin at 5:00 p.m. on March 27 and end at 5:00 p.m. on March 31.
Awarding of the winners – the best janitors of each district – will take place after the counting. The janitor who receives the most votes from Lviv residents will receive the title “The best janitor of Lviv – 2023” and a valuable prize, which will be announced later.
Only candidacies submitted in the Google form at the 1st stage will be allowed to vote.
Therefore, the City Hall invites neighbors, acquaintances and relatives to participate in the competition in order to support with attention and gratitude the people whose hard work makes our city and houses clean and tidy.
We will remind you that for the first time the city competition “The best janitor of Lviv” was held in 2018. Then the winner became Myroslav Novostavskyi, the janitor of LKP “Pivdenne” of the Frankivska district administration, who takes care of the territory of the building on the street. Volodymyr Velyky, 117. Mr. Myroslav became the hero of many journalistic materials, including international publications. Mr. Myroslav received thanks from the community of Lviv and a gift certificate for the tour “Weekend in Europe! Krakow, Prague, Vienna and Budapest”.
The winner of the competition “The best janitor of Lviv – 2019” was Volodymyr Katynskyi – the janitor of the “Balaton-409” LLP. Mr. Volodymyr also received thanks from the community of Lviv and a gift certificate for the “Weekend in Europe! Krakow, Prague, Vienna and Budapest”.
“The best janitor in Lviv – 2020” became again – Myroslav Novostavskyi from LKP “Pivdenne” in the Frankiv district of the city. The prize is a trip for two to the Holy Land.
