The team of the City Institute created a volunteer map of the Lviv community. Permanent locations of the Lviv community where you can volunteer have been collected on one map.
Now there are 29 locations, but the map can be supplemented. In this way, the team of the City Institute simplified the search for activities for people who want to join volunteer initiatives or supplement the map with their own opportunities.
The map was created within the framework of the implementation of the Program for Promoting the Development of Volunteerism in the Lviv City Territorial Community for 2023-2025. The initiative ensures the creation of favorable conditions for volunteering and systematic participation of organizations and institutions that engage volunteers.
“Volunteering is a great opportunity to gain new experience, meet interesting people, help your city and Ukraine, and have a great time. Volunteers are needed everywhere: to help the Armed Forces and forcibly displaced Ukrainians, to take care of the forest or park, in condominiums or at the youth center. That is why we have created a selection of volunteer opportunities in the Lviv community, which simplifies the search”, – noted the project manager of CU City Institute Yuriy Lomikovskyi.
You can familiarize yourself with the map at the link – https://bit.ly/volmaplviv
To join volunteering, you need:
1. Find a location that interests you on the volunteer map.
2. Contact the coordinator of the location and find out about the terms and schedule of volunteering.
3. Come to the location at the appointed time and help.
Also, the creators of the map provided an opportunity for the organizers of volunteer projects to add their project or information about the initiative to attract volunteers. All you need to do is provide details in the form at the link and the City Institute team will add your location to the map.
