In Lviv, traffic will be temporarily restricted on part of Tomashivska Street at the end of September. The reason is the replacement of an emergency section of the water main.
According to Shevchenkivskyi District Administration, from Monday, 28 September, a section of Tomashivska Street from building No. 9 to Shevchenka Street will be closed to traffic. Travel between Shevchenka Street and Tomashivska Street will be impossible approximately until 3 October.
The closed section can be bypassed via neighbouring streets. In particular, drivers are advised to use Prokopovycha Street, which allows them to get around the repair zone and exit onto Shevchenka Street. Public transport does not run along Tomashivska Street.
The work to upgrade the water supply network will be carried out at the investor’s expense. Residents and drivers are asked to take the temporary closure into account in advance when planning their journeys.
