In 2025, the most urban planning permits in Lviv were issued for manufacturing and warehouse facilities.
This was reported by Lubomyr Zubach, the Deputy Mayor of Lviv for Urban Planning. He noted that the number of issued urban planning documents remains stable: “188 urban planning permits were issued in 2025 and 186 in 2024.” Although there is no construction boom, there is no stagnation either. The duration of construction is increasing, and developers are cautiously planning new projects.
The number of commercial facilities has halved: 17 compared to 30. There is also a decrease in the number of office and administrative buildings. Meanwhile, the desire to build manufacturing facilities remains high. Urban planning permits for medical facilities remained at 13 each year, reflecting the development of the healthcare sector in the city.
