The first Nordic-Ukrainian Municipal Partnership Forum was held in Lviv, bringing together representatives from over 60 municipalities from Ukraine, Norway, Finland, and Sweden. The forum was attended by 34 Nordic municipalities from these countries, who came to discuss further steps in cooperation.
Among the participants was the Stryi community and new partners from the municipality of Salo, Finland. Deputy Mayor Andriy Stasiv presented the collaboration, mentioning the signing of a memorandum in Salo at the end of last year. There are already initial results: the Finnish Rotary Club has donated three ambulances to Stryi.
