Water supply is being restored in Lviv after replacing an emergency pipe.
The emergency pipe has already been replaced — a new one has been installed and tested. From 10:30, water started being gradually introduced. The system is being filled step by step, to avoid water hammer and ensure the water is clean. The network is large — over 30 kilometers. Therefore, the water will be returned gradually, over 11–12 hours (if there are no new ruptures).
Lvivvodokanal specialists are monitoring the pressure and state of the system around the clock to ensure water appears in all areas without issues.
