And this is approximately 93% of the number of submitted documents. In general, the city is still in the 1st stage of e-ticket implementation, which is called “Beneficiary Education”. At this stage, in parallel with the issuing of cards, the equipment in vehicles continues to be checked and tested. And the controllers continue to teach the beneficiaries how to use the equipment correctly and to be validated.
Oleg Zabarylo noted that the city is preparing for the transition to the 2nd stage of the introduction of an electronic ticket. However, there are a number of difficulties associated with the declaration of martial law in the country. In particular, due to force majeure, key contractors cannot fully perform their tasks.
“Now, all technical work is performed exclusively by Lvivavtodor LKP specialists, since even before the start of the full-scale invasion, the Mikroelektronika company recalled its employees from the territory of Ukraine. And they are very necessary, because they carried out the main technical work here, on the spot. Unfortunately, we still cannot attract them to work in Lviv, they work remotely,” the official said.
There are also difficulties with working on a mobile application for cashless payment for travel. “SoftServ company deals with the application. And they informed us that they have certain difficulties, because a number of key employees have been mobilized. Now we are conducting negotiations with them to return to work and launch processes that have not yet been launched,” said Oleg Zabarilo.
In general, he emphasized that the electronic form of payment for travel can work only when all key contractors return to full-time work in Lviv.
