During a recent inspection in Lviv, inspectors from the Department of State Supervision (Control) in the Lviv region identified another group of illegal passenger transport services. The violations involved TESLA and MERCEDES-BENZ vehicles operating without the necessary transportation licenses.
Administrative protocols have been drawn up against the drivers. Vehicle owners now face fines ranging from 17,000 to 34,000 UAH, with the final decision to be made by the court.
Ukrtransbezpeka (State Transport Safety Service) reminds the public that providing passenger transportation without a license is a serious legal violation and poses a significant threat to public safety.
Key risks of using “illegal” carriers include:
- employment of unqualified drivers with no verified experience;
- tax evasion, negatively impacting the national economy;
- poor service quality and lack of safety guarantees.
