The executive committee of Lviv City Council has approved the dismantling of several more temporary structures in Lviv, Vynnyky and Rudno. These are kiosks that are not included in the list of temporary structures permitted for business activity within the Lviv municipal territorial community.
In Vynnyky it has been decided to dismantle temporary structures at four locations: on Sportova Street, 17 Halytska Street, B. Khmelnytskoho Street and on Shevchenka Street near the old cemetery.
In the settlement of Rudno, the executive committee supported the dismantling of a temporary structure on Volodymyra Velykoho Street, which was also not included in the approved list of kiosks for business activity.
Another decision concerns Lviv itself: on Hetmana Mazepy Street, 26–27, three temporary structures at 26 and 27 Hetmana Mazepy Street are to be dismantled. This work is being carried out as part of the reconstruction of Hetmana Mazepy Street.
The reconstruction of Mazepy Street, which began in May, is one of the city’s key infrastructure projects. It is intended to improve access to nearby medical institutions, in particular to the UNBROKEN centre. The project provides for the widening of the carriageway, the installation of two dedicated lanes and island public transport stops, convenient infrastructure for pedestrians and cyclists, parking spaces and green areas.
The reconstruction of Mazepy Street is being financed by the European Investment Bank.
