Two new squares will be created in Lychakiv district of Lviv. The decision was approved the day before at a plenary session of the city council.
This was reported by the Land Resources Department of the Lviv City Council. They are located within the medical and educational quarter and near the military hospital – at the intersection of Chernihivska-Sevastopolska streets and on Chernihivska street near house number 21.
In addition, a new half-hectare park will be built in Sykhiv – within the boundaries of houses 40, 42, 54 on Hnata Khotkevycha Street and the Oriana and Sykhivskyi lyceums. It will be named in honour of the Hero of Ukraine – scout Oleh Babii.
“In this way, the city continues its policy of preserving and increasing green spaces in Lviv,” the Lviv City Council’s Land Resources Department said.
We would like to add that another Lviv park will soon be named in honour of the Ukrainian military, political prisoner and UPA centurion Myroslav Symchych. What kind of park it will be is still being decided.
