In Lysynychi and Velyki Hrybovychi community offices and the library have moved into refurbished buildings

In Lysynychi the community office and local library have changed their addresses, and in neighbouring Velyki Hrybovychi another community office has moved to a new location. This was reported by Lviv City Council.

In Lysynychi the community office has been operating for several months now in a refurbished administrative building that previously housed the village council. The old building has been revitalised and adapted for visitors with disabilities: an accessible toilet and convenient entrance to the building have been installed, the facade and attic have been insulated, and the doors on the ground floor have been replaced, taking into account the needs of people with limited mobility.

The premises where the community office previously operated have now been allocated to the local library. The institution has been transformed into a modern educational space for meetings, communication and learning. Schoolchildren come here both individually and as part of organised school trips.

For the library’s “housewarming”, the city purchased new shelving, 15 folding chairs, a scanner, a monitor and partially renewed the book collection. Since the beginning of the school year, young readers have already been visiting the updated space, getting to know the literature, holding lessons and various educational events.

The community office in Velyki Hrybovychi has also moved to a new address. It now operates in the premises of a modernised community centre, which makes it possible to combine administrative services with a cultural space for residents.
