In Ryasne-Ruske, the community is relocating the bus stop closer to the school, while simultaneously setting up a pedestrian pavement opposite the road. Initial construction work has already begun. The length of the path will be approximately 100 metres — from the stop to the traffic light at the entrance to Central Square. They plan to move the stop and the pavilion about 300 metres.
All the work is being carried out by a local entrepreneur at his own expense. His initiative involved relocating the stop for convenient access to his enterprise. After discussions with the Lviv Community Office in Ryasne-Ruske, it was decided to move the stop closer to the school.
“We proposed creating a pedestrian path from the stop, which will make the route to the school safer and quicker,” said Serhiy Yaremenko.
The entrepreneur agreed to these terms, and as a result, the community has seen an example of responsible business. Thanks to this, barriers may be installed along the pavement within a few days.
