In Rudno, the street lighting system on Ohiienka Street has been upgraded: the main street is now fully lit in the evening and at night.
According to the head of the Community Office in Rudno, Nataliia Ustymenko, there used to be around a dozen decorative lanterns on metal poles along this street, many of which were not working or were in a hazardous condition.
After the Community Office contacted LKP «Lvivsvitlo», the company’s specialists inspected the network and decided to completely dismantle the old decorative lanterns.
Old, energy-intensive sodium lamps have also been replaced along the entire street with modern, energy-efficient LED lights, which provide bright white light, improve visibility on the road and consume less electricity.
