New Police Station in Sheptytskyi Community to Ensure Residents’ Safety
The fourth police station has started operating in the Sheptytskyi urban territorial community. Captain Serhiy Meryniuk will serve as the community’s police officer. The address of the new station is Volsvyn village, Sheptytskoho Street, 57A. The opening took place today, March 24.
Duties and Provision of the Police Officer
The police captain will daily ensure law enforcement in the serviced area, respond to citizens’ requests, conduct preventive work, and prevent crimes and offenses. The police officer is provided with a service car, weapons, communications equipment, and everything necessary to perform his duties. The residents themselves will evaluate the officer’s work.
Community Police Officer Project
This is the 49th police station operating in the Lviv region. It is worth noting that the ‘Community Police Officer’ project is implemented by the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Lviv region in collaboration with territorial communities that have signed relevant cooperation memorandums, aiming to create a safe environment for the region’s residents.
