A stationary air quality monitoring station has been installed on the premises of Gymnasium No. 3 in Sheptytskyi. The station will measure air pollution levels and meteorological parameters such as temperature, atmospheric pressure, wind speed and direction, and humidity.
The project was implemented with the support of GIZ Ukraine as part of the initiative “Just Transition of Coal Regions and Green Recovery of Ukraine’s Energy Sector.”
The modular station was delivered to the town in late December, and specialists from Eknis-Engineering LLC recently began installing the equipment. According to Serhii Shevtsov, Head of the Analytical Systems Department at the company, the installation of the “Aerpointer” air monitoring station and the commissioning work will take several days.
