Road infrastructure improvements are continuing in the Sokal community of Lviv region. Some of the planned repair works have already been completed, while repairs are still ongoing on several road sections.
Using funds from the local budget, repairs were carried out on roads managed by the Road Department of the Lviv Regional Military Administration. The total amount allocated for these works is UAH 9.47 million.
Which road sections have already been repaired
Repair works were completed on the following roads:
- С141607 “Tartakiv-Kniazhe” — a 251-metre section was repaired, with UAH 2 million allocated for the works.
- С141642 “Zhvyrka-Zavyshen” — repairs were carried out on Ukrainska Street in the village of Zavyshen. The section is 141 metres long, and the funding amounted to UAH 1.47 million.
- С141636 “Tudorkovychi-Voislavychi” — 120 metres of road surface were renewed, with UAH 1 million allocated.
- С141610 “Ulvivok-Zabuzhzhia” — a 250-metre section was repaired in the village of Ulvivok. The Sokal City Council allocated UAH 2 million, while Zhovkivskyi Plemptakhoreproduktоr LLC contributed another UAH 500,000 through co-financing.
- О141606 Varіazh checkpoint road — 117 metres of the regional road were restored, with UAH 1 million directed to the works.
On these sections, contractors milled the old surface, levelled the road base with the addition of new material, and laid asphalt concrete.
Where repairs are currently underway
Road crews are currently working on the local public road С141611 “Tartakiv-Sharpantsi” within the village of Bobiatyn.
The works are funded from two sources:
- UAH 10.57 million from the reserve fund of the State Budget;
- UAH 2 million from the budget of the Sokal City Council.
The approximate length of the section currently under repair is 1,500 metres.
