A difficult situation with sewer network accidents has arisen in Sosnivka. This was reported by the head of the city of Sosnivka, Iryna Kharchuk.
The “Nova Dolyna” company is working around the clock to eliminate the accidents, but repair work is complicated due to lack of access to the premises. “On the first floors there are apartments whose owners have gone abroad without leaving keys, so there is no access to these apartments. And the residential buildings lack basement premises, so we are looking into the legal aspects of how we can enter these apartments and rescue other residents of the building,” said Iryna Kharchuk.
Over the past week, 714 appeals have been received from residents to the communal enterprise “Zhytlokomunservis”. The head of the enterprise, Yuriy Kukoba, emphasized that most emergency situations are caused by unstable power supply. Constant power outages lead to a drop in water pressure in the system and a failure of internal networks due to sharp voltage surges.
The situation with household waste disposal remains complicated. According to Yuriy Kukoba, currently, two garbage trucks are under repair. The operation of specialized equipment is also complicated by the condition of some roads, where there are still uncleared sections.
The head of the municipal enterprise “Teplokomunenergo”, Stepan Dmukhovsky, noted that despite working under extreme conditions, the community’s heating supply is stable. The boiler houses are equipped with generators, but constant switching of the power supply leads to breakdowns and equipment failures.
