In Stebnyk, road surface repairs have begun on Sheptytskyi Street. This road is important for residents as it connects the main transport routes to Drohobych, Truskavets, and Boryslav. Over the weekend, the contracting organisation milled the surface and prepared specific sections for asphalting.
According to information from the Department of Urban Economy, repairing this road is a priority due to its poor condition and heavy traffic. Simultaneously, in Drohobych, small road damages are being swiftly addressed using the air-jet method.
This method, used by employees of KP ‘SMU’, allows for the rapid repair of small potholes and cracks. Special equipment applies a mix of gravel and bitumen emulsion directly into the cracks under high pressure, sealing them and preventing moisture ingress, which could lead to greater damages in the future.
