The selection of candidates for the renewed composition of the Youth Council under the Stryi City Council has been completed in Stryi. During the final stage, the selection panel spoke with the applicants and familiarised itself with their ideas and vision for the development of youth policy in the community.
The Youth Council has been operating since 2021 as an advisory and consultative body. It is intended to help young people aged 14 to 35 implement important initiatives and submit their own proposals for draft decisions of the city council.
In accordance with the Regulations, the composition of the Youth Council is renewed every two years and may include up to 25 members. The city council reported that the list of names of the new team will be published in the near future.
The organisers of the selection process thanked all the applicants for their engagement and willingness to contribute to change in the community.
