In Stryi, the traffic layout is being changed on the streets around the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. This decision was taken by the traffic safety commission of the Stryi City Council in connection with the completion of major renovation works on the square in front of the church.
According to the decision, traffic will be completely prohibited on the section of Shashkevycha Street opposite the church. On Uspenska Street, two-way traffic is being introduced on the stretch from Bolekhivska Street to Nechaya Street.
On Nechaya Street, one-way traffic is being introduced in the direction from Uspenska Street to Zankovetska Street. Ustiyanovycha Street will have two-way traffic on the stretch from Uspenska Street to Kryva Street, and on Hoholia Street two-way traffic will operate from Uspenska Street to Mikhnovskoho Street.
As reported by the Stryi City Council, the corresponding road signs are planned to be installed on 16 October. Drivers are asked to be attentive and to take the new traffic layout into account when travelling around the city.
