In Truskavets, at a meeting of the standing council commission on humanitarian affairs and legal compliance, a number of budget decisions for 2026–2027 were approved. The meeting took place on 6 November under the chairmanship of councillor Andriy Trishchuk.
The commission backed the Programme to ensure access to administrative services through the purchase and implementation of a special automated complex, the “Mobile Suitcase”, for the ASC in 2026. This equipment will enable staff of the Administrative Services Centre to visit people undergoing rehabilitation, persons with disabilities, older people and those who, due to their health, are unable to move about independently. The total cost of the complex is 104,000 UAH, of which the city plans to fund 44,600 UAH and the region 59,400 UAH.
As a related decision, the commission approved the organisation of administrative service provision at a mobile remote workstation by qualified staff under the “Mobile Administrator” model.
In response to the increase in the number of children with special educational needs, the commission agreed to the education department’s proposal to introduce an additional staff position for a teaching assistant at the Truskavets school-gymnasium.
The councillors also unanimously supported a series of decisions on social payments, increased spending on commemorating fallen Defenders and financial support for the municipal hospital. There are plans to install another citylight with four portraits of fallen Heroes from the Truskavets community.
For 2026, the commission approved an increase of 300,000 hryvnias in funding for the “Family Holiday” service for veterans and their families. The programme provides 15,000 UAH for each member of a veteran’s family, of which 6,000 UAH is provided by the city budget and 9,000 UAH by the regional budget. According to officials, family holidays are in high demand: veterans from the Truskavets community most often choose to spend their holidays in Shepilske, Skhidnytsia and Truskavets.
For 2027, it is proposed to allocate 199,000 UAH for purchasing gifts for children from large families. Separately, 40,000 UAH is planned for extending the licence of the municipal enterprise “Municipal Radio Broadcasting Editorial Office” (radio station “Svoia Khvylia” 98.8 FM). The current licence is valid until 13.12.2026, and the new one will be issued for the next 10 years.
A new councillor, Mykola Senkiv, is to join the commission on humanitarian affairs; at the previous plenary sitting he took the oath as a representative of the European Solidarity party. He was present at the meeting, but did not take part in the voting, since his inclusion in the commission requires a separate decision of the city council session.
