In the Truskavets urban territorial community, from 3 August 2026, the procedure for public hearings on the discussion of the draft Statute of the community is commencing. The corresponding decision was adopted by the Truskavets City Council of the eighth democratic convocation.
The Statute of the community is the main local document that defines the principles of local self-government, the forms and procedure for residents’ participation in resolving matters of local importance, and other important aspects of community life.
The public hearings are organised on the basis of Article 13 and paragraph 48 of Article 26 of the Law of Ukraine “On Local Self-Government in Ukraine”, the Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Certain Laws of Ukraine Regarding People’s Power at the Level of Local Self-Government”, as well as the decision of the Truskavets City Council of 28 May 2026 No. 5054 “On the organisation and conduct of public hearings on the discussion of the draft Statute of the Truskavets urban territorial community”.
The text of the draft Statute has been published on the community’s official website. Residents may send their proposals and comments in any form to the e-mail address of the Truskavets City Council tmr@ukr.net.
The submission of proposals will last for 30 calendar days — from 03.08.2026 to 01.09.2026.
The holding of in-person public hearings to discuss the Statute is planned after 2 September 2026 in the premises of the People’s House in the city of Truskavets (2 Boryslavska St), as well as in the community’s starosta districts. The specific date and time of the meetings will be announced additionally.
The Truskavets City Council calls on residents to take an active part in shaping the community’s main document and to submit their proposals.
