An Investment Council and a Commission for the Distribution of Public Investments have been established in Truskavets.
On August 4, a regular meeting of the city executive committee took place, during which 8 decisions were made. Two of these concerned the city executive committee’s commissions: one was liquidated, changes were made to a number of others, and one was created. One decision concerned the conversion of a garden house into a residential one.
Three decisions pertained to the transfer of main assets from the balance sheet of the culture department to the balance sheets of three city churches. These assets were acquired through the participatory budget and involved sound equipment valued at around 400 thousand UAH. The participatory budget was in effect in Truskavets until 2020.
An important step towards transparency is the establishment of the Investment Council. This is an advisory body under the city executive committee that includes the city mayor, department heads, and the heads of relevant commissions. The council’s goal is to structure requests and proposals from budget holders.
Another decision created the Commission for the Distribution of Public Investments, chaired by the head of the financial management of Truskavets City Council, Mykola Fedorchak. The commission’s secretary is Lesya Salyak, the main specialist of the investment attraction department.
